Mark your calendars! The Southport Farmers Market, (2001 E. Southport Road) will start up again on Saturday, Sept. 16 and be held every third Saturday of the month until April 20. The Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thursday night, Aug. 24, from 6-8:30 p.m. is Open Mic Night at the Hart Memorial Library in Kissimmee. Adults and teens can share musical talents, spoken word, artist ability or just relax and enjoy. Also at the Library, the Monthly No Pressure Book Club for adults on Wednesday, Aug.
