Wednesday morning Milton update: Cat 2 conditions possible in Osceola

The National Hurricane Center, as of 5 a.m., projects Hurricane Milton to make landfall between Sarasota and Tampa Bay as a Category 4 storm, and says the core will travel through central or south Osceola County very early Thursday morning.

Fuel supplies key amid Milton evacuations

News Service of Florida — As residents evacuate on congested highways ahead of Hurricane Milton — some headed to Osceola County — Florida officials said the state does not have a fuel shortage amid efforts to ensure that supplies continue to reach gas stations.
