Rain chances up to 50% through Saturday

weather watching There is going to be quite a bit of cloud cover, and about a 40 to 50 percent chance of showers through Saturday. High temperatures will range from the upper 70s to low 80s.

Liberty High’s Christelle Bonzil accepts scholarship to Rice

SCHOLARSHIP SIGNING Track and field star Christelle Bonzil will be an Owl. The Liberty High School senior will attend Rice University on a full scholarship after signing an athletic grant-in-aid in a ceremony at the high school on Friday.

Orlando SeaWolves fall to Baltimore Blast, 14-5

Following their loss to the Florida Tropics on Thursday, the Orlando SeaWolves traveled up to Maryland, falling to the Baltimore Blast 14-5 on Saturday. The SeaWolves fell into an early hole, down 5-0 in the first quarter, a hole they could not climb out of.
