On Monday, Rep. Darren Soto (FL-09) presented James W. Scroggins, a Korean War veteran and Osceola County resident, with a recently awarded Purple Heart. Scroggins was enlisted in the 29th Infantry of the U.S. Army in 1948.

Salvation Army takes the lead at Osceola Ministries Center

People still call it the Daily Bread. It’s the nickname of the Osceola Christian Ministries Center in downtown Kissimmee where upward of 100 men and women – many without a home – eat every day. It’s also where they can see a doctor, get a haircut and take a shower.

The Silver Spurs Riding Club honored its 2020 Coca-Cola Cowboy and Women’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipients with a reception at the Silver Spurs Riding Club’s ranch in Kenansville on Jan. 24.

144th Silver Spurs Rodeo celebrates over 75 years of tradition in Osceola County

Golden Tee Florida Open comes to St. Cloud

OK, maybe not a real golf major but an e-sport major as Sidelines Sports Grill in St. Cloud will host the 2020 Power Events Golden Tee Florida Open, Feb. 6-9. It is a scheduled stop on the PEGT Tour.
