Temperatures to climb into mid-80s next week

How about this beautiful weather, with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s? We are going to be the envy of the whole nation if we weren’t already! A few passing showers from a cold front from Thursday night through Friday night is in the forecast. The high temperature on Friday will be around 75.

The Centers for Disease Control on Monday confirmed the 13th case of the latest strain of coronavirus in the United States, but the outbreak has so far missed Florida.

The following roads are tentatively scheduled for resurfacing: • Bay Shore Drive: Old Melbourne Highway to end of pavement. • Bar Lou Court: Bay Shore Drive to end of pavement. • Mockingbird Avenue: Bay Shore Drive to end of pavement. • Heron Court: Bay Shore Drive to end of pavement.

Salvation Army takes the lead at Osceola Ministries Center

People still call it the Daily Bread. It’s the nickname of the Osceola Christian Ministries Center in downtown Kissimmee where upward of 100 men and women – many without a home – eat every day. It’s also where they can see a doctor, get a haircut and take a shower.
