A proud family is caring for some newborns this summer.
Two bouncing baby albino alligators are happily swimming around in the shade at Wild Florida in Kissimmee.
The young family of albinos now numbers six, after four of the very rare pale-skinned alligators were successfully hatched last year.

Local COVID-19 school news: Celebration K-8 to close, go to digital learning remainder of the week

Out of an abundance of caution, the Osceola School District has announced Celebration K-8 school will move all students and teachers to digital learning through TEAMS through Friday.
Students and staff will return for face-to-face learning on Monday.

Vaccine Booster Shots Now Available for Immunocompromised

In the coming weeks, Osceola County residents will be eligible for COVID-19 booster shots. Currently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that moderately to severely immunocompromised people receive an additional dose of vaccine.

St. Cloud man arrested on multiple child porn possession charges

The Osceola County Sheriffs Office has arrested a St. Cloud man suspected of owning and viewing child pornography for years.
Gregory Andrew Dimperio, 51, of St. Cloud has been arrested and charged with a number of counts of possession of photos or videos of sexual performance by a child.
