Florida Plaza Boulevard near Old Town, Fun Spot scheduled for repaving starting Monday

Florida Plaza Boulevard, the road that runs to the east of Old Town and Fun Spot west of Kissimmee, is tentatively scheduled for resurfacing Monday through Friday of next week, per Osceola County. Work will be performed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

FEMA awards County $1.38M to upgrade traffic signals

Four traffic signals will be replaced in short order, thanks to a Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) grant of $1,389,840 to Osceola County. In total, 14 signals will be replaced that will provide protection from winds up to 150 mph during future storms.
