The Association of Poinciana Villages Annual Fireworks Spectacular, sponsored by Spectrum takes place on Saturday, June 27 at 6 p.m. at Vance Harmon Ampitheater. Unearth the rich history of Native American people. This interactive program reveals the stories, traditions and legacy of local indigenous communities. Then check out the Family Movie Matinee when The Croods shows at 2 p.m.

Meet Florida’s most famous resident and watch as the American Alligator is brought into the room on Wednesday, June 10 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. The knowledgeable and entertaining Gator Wranglers from Gatorland will share stories of close encounters. You will have your own close encounter with an American Alligator.

Traffic Advisory: Intermittent Lane Closures on northbound and southbound Pleasant Hill Road and west Southport Road at Poinciana Blvd. are happening through Tuesday, June 9.
