The Four Chaplains were four World War II chaplains who died rescuing civilian and military personnel, giving up their own life jackets when supplies ran out as the American troop ship SS Dorchester sank on Feb. 3, 1943. The chaplains included Methodist Minister, the Reverend George L.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is offering technical assistance to potential applicants interested in its Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) and the Boating Infrastructure Grant Program (BIGP).
Luminaries will be available and tributes, donations and gifts to be left around these luminaries or placed in collection containers will be accepted. Cash donations will go to the Dr. Christa Young Memorial Angel Fund.
