The 2024 District 3 Community Resource Network Event takes place on Wednesday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valencia College’s Poinciana Campus. This is a chance to see the wide range of information, services and opportunities in our area, including housing and community services, veteran services, Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, Osceola Community Health and other agencies. This is a free event for Osceola County residents, giveaways and raffles will be held. For more information, call 407-742-3422.
Zumba is back! Free classes are held every Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the Mary Jane Arrington Gym and Aquatic Center, 625 Country Club Dr.
Registration is now open for Poinciana Little League Summer Camp. Summer Baseball Camp is for boys and girls ages 4-16 at Poinciana Community Park, (5109 Allegheny Road). Camp highlights include professional instruction, multi-level ability grouping, daily emphasis on fundamental development, team play and more. Campers receive an official camp t-shirt.

Poinciana Athletic Association presents Poinciana Summer Camp for ages 5-12. This Monday-to-Friday runs June 3 to Aug. 2 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily, also at Poinciana Community Park. Activities include outdoor activities, crafts, story-telling, movie days and water days. For more information, call 407-308-6519.
Last week, the Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) sent an email blast out to community residents regarding choosing a movie for the next APV Family Movie Night. The winner was The Super Mario Brother. Movie. The family movie night will be Saturday, April 20 at 7 p.m. under the stars at the Vance Harmon Amphitheater Lawn (625 Country Club Dr.) Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy.
