The fear fest happens every Saturday beginning Sept. 19 through Saturday, Oct. 31, from 7 to 11 p.m. (some activities may run until 11:30 p.m.). County Commission Chairman Brandon Arrington invites Osceola County residents ages 55 and up to join the District 3 monthly Bingo on Friday, Sept. 25 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Poinciana Library. This month’s theme is Country Roads.
Welcome Fall Super Bingo happens at the Poinciana Wellness Center (3372 W. Southport Road) an event by IMA Medical Group takes place on Friday, Sept. 25 from 12-4 p.m. Celebrate the beginning of Fall with Super Bingo fun. Meet and hear from IMA Doctors and connect with the community.
There’s Bingo every Friday night at the Poinciana Community Center, but on the 25th there’s a special theme. Ladies, brush off your poodle skirts and fellas, roll up those blue jeans for a Bingo Sock Hop Party.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the first ball is dropped at 7 p.m. This event is for adults over 18, no outside food or drink and the concession stand will be open.
Barkapalooza is happening on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poinciana Dog Park (5100 Allegheny Road). All dogs, all people are welcome! Bring your fury friend for a fun day of pet friendly games, tail wagging excitement and contests for pets and people. This free event is courtesy of Polk County Parks and Recreation. Poinciana Beautiful was created in honor of residents who take excellent care maintaining the exterior of their homes. The winning homes are selected by a panel of judges, with one home from each participating Village crowned “Poinciana Beautiful Home of the Year. In addition to bragging rights, those honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony, receive a trophy and numerous prizes and gifts from the numerous sponsors.
