Osceola wins 6th straight OBC in thrilling boys hoops win over Harmony

In a game where top-seeded Harmony never led, Osceola won its sixth consecutive Orange Belt Conference boys’ basketball title with a thrilling 46-44 win over the Longhorns Friday at Tohopekaliga High. The win was Osceola’s (13-11) sixth in a row and eighth in their last nine games.

When it comes to local domination, it’s more than time to add St. Cloud weightlifting to Osceola football and boys basketball and Celebration boys soccer as the best in the county.

On a day when pairings were announced for next week’s Orange Belt Conference boys’ basketball tournament, a young Osceola team downed Gateway, 52-37, and will look to repeat as conference champions.

Osceola back in state Duals again at home

Since its inception in 2019, Osceola and Harmony have never failed to qualify for the FHSAA State Dual Championships. The Kowboys kept that streak alive Thursday by winning the top half of the Class 3A Region 2 bracket as it again hosts the annual state meet starting Friday.
