Victim Service Center of Central Florida hosts their annual Cheers to Change event

Victim Service Center of Central Florida (VSC) is announcing that its annual fundraising event Cheers to Change will be Thursday, April 8, from 7 to 8 p.m.

Cheers to Change 2021 will be a virtual event streaming online via Facebook and broadcast on cable television through Orange TV (Channel 488 on Spectrum, Channel 9 on Comcast, 1081 CenturyLink Prism TV, 10.2 Digital Over the Air).

Cheers to Change will offer a virtual auction that will run from April 1 starting at 9 a.m. to April 8 at 8 p.m.  

Cheers to Change is an event created to promote VSC services and raise funds to support survivors in the Central Florida area.

Entertainment will include performances by local artists Ruth King and Josh Gluck, theatrical monologues from “Candle in the Dark” and powerful stories from survivors.

Victim Service Center of Central Florida is the Certified Rape Crisis Center in Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties and maintains a 24-hour Sexual Assault Hotline staffed by victim advocates trained in the area of sexual violence and trauma.  

It’s mission is to provide individualized services and resources to victims of sexual assault, violent crime, and traumatic circumstances,  through crisis response, advocacy, therapy and community awareness.
