Honor America's WWII Heroes as the Spirit of '45 comes to St. Cloud on Saturday, Aug. 8. Join the Museum of Military History at the historic G.A.R. Hall (1101 Massachusetts Ave.) from 9 a.m. to noon for Keep the Spirit of '45 Alive! — a special community celebration honoring the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of America's World War II veterans, sponsored by Experience Kissimmee.
Celebrate, honor, and remember the Greatest Generation while helping keep the Spirit of '45 alive for future generations.

The City of St. Cloud and Hopkins Heroes presents Back 2 School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 8th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Cloud Community Center, 3101 17th St. School age children can receive bookbags full of supplies, haircuts and there will also be a uniform swap. City of St. Cloud’s Adult 30+ 5v5 Basketball League registration is open until Friday, Aug. 14th. Gather your teammates and get ready for a season of Monday and Tuesday night basketball games beginning Monday, Aug. 17. Players must be 30 years old or over. Teams may have 8-13 players. The fee is $65 per resident player and $90 per non-resident player. Players register individually and must indicate the team they will play on. There is no fee to register a team. For the younger set, registration is now open for Harmony Junior After-School Hoops (ages 5-8). This full school year program is built for young players to learn ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, defense, confidence and teamwork. It meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Aug. 18 through Thursday, May 20.

The Osceola School Districts Transportation Parent Hotline is open to help families with bus routes, transportation information and back to school questions.
