Rain Barrel Workshop

Learn how to create, install, and maintain a rain barrel. Toho Water customers may receive one free 55-gallon barrel with proof of account. Bring a vehicle that can transport the barrel. Non-Toho Water customers may attend but are not eligible for a free barrel.

Ag Explorers Summer Day Camp
UF/IFAS Extension Services in Osceola Heritage Park

Join us for a fun and hands-on youth summer camp where kids explore agriculture through engaging activities and outdoor learning! Campers will learn how to grow microgreens, start a simple mushroom-growing project, and discover how beef is produced and where different meat cuts come from. Youth will also discover the amazing world of honeybees and learn about the fruits and vegetables they help pollinate. To stay active and build teamwork skills, campers will enjoy a Soccer Day played on grass fields, where they’ll learn how healthy soil and grass support outdoor recreation and agriculture. By the end of the week, participants will build practical skills, learn about agriculture and food systems, and develop a deeper appreciation for farmers—all while learning, creating, and exploring. Open to youth 11 and older.
