Hear ye! Hear ye! Swords, sorcery, dragons, and daring adventures return to Osceola Heritage Park as The Magik & Mythk Festival, hosted by Prometheus Esoterica, takes over the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Known as Central Florida's largest indoor medieval fair, the one-day celebration of fantasy and medieval culture transforms the venue into an immersive world filled with more than 200 exhibitors, live entertainment, costume contests, medieval combat demonstrations, unique artisans, and interactive experiences for fans of all ages.
For Floridians counting down the days until the next Renaissance festival season, The Magik & Mythk Festival offers the perfect opportunity to dust off costumes, gather fellow adventurers, and enjoy all the excitement of a traditional renaissance fair — without the summer heat.
"Whether you're a seasoned ren fair enthusiast, a fantasy fan, or simply looking for a unique family outing, The Magik & Mythk Festival offers an unforgettable escape from the ordinary," said Shawn LaDouceur, Director of Marketing at Osceola Heritage Park. "Guests can arrive in full cosplay, medieval attire, or everyday clothing and immediately become part of the experience."
Visitors can explore a marketplace featuring hundreds of vendors and artisans while enjoying performances and entertainment throughout the day. The festival welcomes everyone from knights and wizards to fairies, pirates, adventurers, and curious first-time attendees.
One of the festival's most popular features is its indoor setting, allowing guests to fully enjoy the experience in the comfort of an air-conditioned venue.
