Bulldogs bow out of softball regional playoffs on one-hitter

Freshman Makayla Megnauth fired a one-hitter and her Eagle teammates were able to scratch home a run in the fifth inning, as Port St. Lucie Centennial defeated St. Cloud, 1-0, in an FHSAA Class 7A, Region 2 softball semifinal on Wednesday afternoon.

Longhorns defensive stand, rally leads back to 4A flag finals

Graduation is nigh, and the seniors leave campus this week, but the Harmony High flag football team keeps the school year sports season alive with an appearance this weekend in the FHSAA Class 4A state tournament.

Regional champs! Harmony rallies to reach flag football state tournament

Harmony’s flag football team overcame a 7-0 third quarter deficit to rally past Fort Pierce Central, 15-7, and claim the FHSAA Class 4A Region 3 Championship and earn the team’s fourth trip to the state championship Final 4.

Bulldogs tame Tigers in softball regional playoffs

St. Cloud will continue carrying the flag for Osceola County in the Class 7A regional softball playoffs after an 8-3 win over in-county rival Tohopekaliga.Meanwhile, Harmony fell, 6-2 in another Region 2 quarterfinal at Orlando Boone.

Second-half rally pushes Harmony into flag football regional finals

Jada Bloodworth scored one touchdown and set up the game-winner with an interception as Harmony overcame a two-touchdown deficit in the second half to hold off Palm Beach Gardens, 26-20, in the Region 3A-3 flag football regional semifinal Monday.

A mad dash to spring sports playoffs

Pick a spring sport and you will state championship playoff action in full swing this week.  That action includes half of the public schools in Osceola County that still have teams or individuals alive in competition.

Postseason continues for lifters, track and volleyball

Bulldogs walk it off for dramatic district title

Shyenne Hawkins slashed a two-run double to left center with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to give St. Cloud the District 7A-6 softball championship with a 2-1 win over arch-rival Harmony Wednesday night.“An incredibly well-played game by both teams,” St. Cloud coach Ray Whobrey said.
