A new castle is coming to Osceola County!
White Castle will open its Kissimmee doors in spring 2026, on U.S. Highway 192 near Old Town. The 3,430-squarefoot eatery will host indoor and outdoor seating, as well as two drive-through lanes.
White Castle leaders were present at the soon-to-be location on Tuesday, Dec. 2, for a groundbreaking ceremony joined by Osceola County elected officials, development partners, and brand ambassadors. The ceremony included a special proclamation from a Town Crier—complete with a White Castle “blessing of the onions” tradition, on the dirt where a grill will eventually be placed.
“The Kissimmee Castle represents the next exciting chapter in our Central Florida journey,” said White Castle Vice President Jamie T. Richardson. “With every new Castle, we’re honoring our 100-year family legacy while celebrating the Cravers who make our mission of satisfying the Crave so rewarding.”
The Kissimmee location follows its two Central Florida sister locations in Clermont and Orlando, with the Orlando location being the largest freestanding White Castle in the world.
“The Osceola Chamber is thrilled to welcome the new White Castle to Kissimmee. Our tagline is ‘Business Works Better Together,’ but there is nothing better than enjoying White Castle sliders together,” said Osceola Chamber President and CEO John Newstreet.
In addition to its iconic hamburger sliders, White Castle is bringing 60 new jobs to the area. “This stretch of Irlo Bronson Highway with Old Town and Celebration is one of the most highly traveled corridors in Osceola County—both by millions of visitors that come from all over, but also by residents. So this is a wonderful location,” said Newstreet. “We’re one of the fastest growing counties in all of Florida and the country… We’re growing so fast that we’re one of the few counties in Florida that has more people looking for it than available jobs. This makes a difference for our community.”
