AdventHealth Orlando has been ranked No. 1 in Central Florida among U.S. News & World Report annual Best Hospitals Rankings for the 16th year in a row.
The U.S. News rankings also listed the health care group No. 2 in Florida. Four medical specialties – obstetrics and gynecology; diabetes and endocrinology; gastroenterology and GI surgery; and cardiology, heart and vascular surgery – were ranked among the Top 50 programs in the nation. Another five – cancer; geriatrics; neurology and neurosurgery; pulmonology & lung surgery; and rehabilitation – were designated as "high-performing."
The evaluation of AdventHealth Orlando includes data from AdventHealth Kissimmee, AdventHealth Celebration, AdventHealth East Orlando, AdventHealth Winter Park, AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Apopka.

U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions; just 1 out of 6 evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals designation. To determine the Best Hospitals, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and patient experience.
