Executive Policy Group will repeal Osceola curfew Monday

In conjunction with Gov. Ron DeSantis’ order to reopen Florida, Osceola County’s Executive Policy Group intends to follow the state’s phased plan and agreed on Thursday to repeal the county’s existing curfew, effective Monday, May 4.

Since it was dedicated in 1995, tens of thousands of people visiting Kissimmee Lakefront Park have seen the bronze statue of three figures in the northeast corner of the park. One is a woman, another obviously a soldier, all three huddled in distress.

Rain expected Thursday, 90s on Sunday

The way things are currently looking, the only day out of the next seven with a chance of rain is Thursday.   Friday through Sunday is looking fantastic with sunshine and high temperatures climbing from 82 on Friday to 90 degrees on Sunday. The 90s are expected to continue at least through May 6.
