Christmas will be in the 50s in Central Florida

Temperatures are expected to rise into the 70s on Thursday, but a cold front is expected to bring rain Christmas Eve and cool things down a little by Christmas with a high in the 50s. Saturday will struggle to get to 60 degrees.  Winter arrived at 5:02 a.m.

Osceola County planning resurfacing project

 Osceola County officials are announcing that the following roads are tentatively scheduled for resurfacing from Jan. 4-15. •Citrus Street: Lemon Avenue to end of pavement. •Sunview Court: Grove Court to end of pavement. •Grove Court: O’Berry Road to Lemon Avenue.

A Bed Bath and Beyond store manager in Kissimmee was busted in a Polk County Sheriff’s Office child pornography sting. On Dec. 21, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office concluded a month-long special operation to identify members of the community who possessed and shared child pornography.

St. Cloud solid waste rates to increase Jan. 1
