SunRail hits vehicle in Kissimmee, 1 person killed

A person was killed Thursday night in Kissimmee after a SunRail train hit a vehicle. The crash happened on East Vine Street at the railroad tracks. A 911 call came in to the Kissimmee Police Department at approximately 6:15 p.m.

City of Kissimmee honors employees who have passed

The city of Kissimmee, Kissimmee Utility Authority and the Toho Water Authority hosted their annual Employee Memorial Service on March 12 at Kissimmee City Hall. This program remembers those employees that have passed, including line of duty deaths, and honors those that have retired.

Kissimmee motorcyclist killed in Orange County crash

A Kissimmee motorcyclist was killed in an Orange County crash on Thursday after a motorist lost control of his vehicle. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 26-year-old Orlando resident was driving a sedan eastbound on State Road 408, exiting onto Goldenrod Road at about 10:20 a.m.
