After their house went up in flames more than a year ago, the Foster family finally got back home Saturday.

The Osceola School District is in need of 40 additional bus drivers to fulfill its routes for the upcoming school year when classes resume on August 12.
To help fill the gap, the district is holding a Bus Driver Job Fair on Tuesday, June 29, rom 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Company postpones first post-pandemic cruise

Royal Caribbean has postponed the inaugural sailing of one of its cruise ships in Florida after eight crew members tested positive for COVID-19.
The Odyssey of the Seas scheduled Caribbean voyage out of Fort Lauderdale was originally set to begin July 3 but has been postponed until the end of July.

Osceola Community Health Services is offering free COVID-19 vaccines at Cameron Preserve on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Pifzer vaccine will be available to children ages 12 to 17. The Moderna and Janssen vaccines will be available for adults. Rapid testing will also be availble.
