The City of St. Cloud Parks and Recreation wants you to get dirty. Join Hopkins Park Community Garden Day on Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to noon. Wear closed-toe shoes and help work the Community Garden. Tools and gloves will be provided. If able, bring a dish to share for the lunch which will follow.

The Osceola Chamber will sponsor an event next week to provide an update on what has been happening downtown Kissimmee. The Downtown Update 2022 with the Downtown Kissimmee Council will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 8 a.m. at the Kissimmee Civic Center.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has completed its final draft of a Lake Management Plan for the Kissimmee Chain, which includes Lake Tohopekaliga in Kissimmee and Lake Cypress, south of St. Cloud. An open house will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 6-8 p.m.
