Osceola Arts announces 2022-2023 theatre season

Osceola Arts recently announced its lineup of plays and musicals for the 2022-2023 season. The 62nd season lineup features familiar titles, and kicks off in September and runs through August 2023.

Osceola Arts, whose mission is to promote, cultivate and foster interest and participation in the arts, begins the season next month with a cult classic, Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein, with a cast that includes Ethan Gresham as Dr. Fredrick Frankenstein, Mary Mackin as Elizabeth, Kit Riffel as Igor, and Robert Phillips as the Monster.

Young Frankenstein follows Frederick Frankenstein, who tries to carry out his grandfather’s legacy of bringing a corpse back to life in this favorite musical comedy. With the help of his servant Igor and assistant Inga, Dr. Frankenstein must decide if he will stay in Transylvania or flee the town that detests the Frankenstein name. This production runs Sept. 16-Oct. 2.

“We look forward to a thrilling and exciting theater season for 2022-2023,” said Director of Theatre Operations Bri Stefek. “This season is full of many classics tried and true. The audience surely won’t be disappointed, as our cast always puts on an extraordinary show.”
