Barktoberfest is Oct. 10 and it will be a splash-tastic day with your furry friends. Join in the fun at Bob Makinson Aquatic Center from 1-4 p.m. for a special dog swimming event that gives your pup the chance to cool off, splash around, and enjoy a fun day at the pool! Owners are required to provide proof of current rabies vaccination or shot records. All dogs will undergo an aggression check before entering the aquatic center. Dogs displaying signs of aggression may be turned away. Owners are welcome to accompany their dogs but will not be permitted to swim and may only enter the water up to knee depth.
