Fix a Leak Week returns! This annual celebration, observed the third week of March, brings awareness to water waste caused by household leaks. Did you know that approximately 10% of homes have leaks that can waste 90 gallons of water or more daily? Don’t let that home be yours.

We know the City of St. Cloud knows how to do New Year’s Eve … now it’s going to show it’s green chops for St. Patrick’s Day!Saturday, St. Cloud’s St. Patrick’s Paint the Cloud Green Light Parade Party will be from 7:30 to 11 p.m.  The parade will start at the Lakefront, go down Pennsylvania Ave.

Have you been to the Marketplace?  The Southport Marketplace takes place the third Saturday of every month.  The next one is Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Enjoy local crafts, baked goods, local honey, plants, jams and jellies, candles and soaps.  The Marketplace is pet friendly.

There is still time to register for the longest running Poinciana youth sports program. Join the Poinciana Predators Football and Cheer family in Flag Football (ages 4-6, $75 per child); tackle (7-10, $150 per child) cheerleading (4-14, $200 per child).

The application deadline for the Historic Awards & Plaque Program is Friday, March 1. The St. Cloud Main Street program and the City of St. Cloud collaborated on this program to recognize historic buildings within the City limits.
