POINCIANA NEWS — Poinciana part of new school safety speed zones

Osceola County has implemented school zone speed cameras in a two-phase rollout to enhance school safety. Horizon Middle, Liberty High, Sunrise Elementary, Bellalago Academy, Mater Brighton Lakes Academy, KOA Elementary and Deerwood Elementary are included in District 3.

The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) recently recognized the winners of their 2024 Poinciana Beautiful Home Beautification program.  The Ninth Annual Poinciana Beautiful Awards Gala was held on Saturday, Jan. 25.

Black History Month celebrates African American history, contributions and achievements.  There are two events in St. Cloud in observance of Black History Month.Granny’s Southern Smokehouse presents a Black History Month Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) Annual Adult Sweetheart Dance takes place on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 6-8 p.m. at the Anthony DePalma Event Center.
