Airboat operators say alligators are aggressive now -- leave them alone

Need school supplies for your family? The next two weeks will feature a number of back-to-school supply drives for those in need. The City of St. Cloud is hosting a Back 2 School Bash on Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. to noon at Hopkins Park (6320 E. 17th St.).

Marigold Avenue improvement meeting Aug. 4

Osceola Transportation and Transit will present a community meeting to discuss the Marigold Avenue Safety Improvement Project on Aug. 4 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Poinciana Community Center. This project’s purpose is to improve traffic flow and help encourage safer driving speeds on Marigold.

It’s that time of year where daily afternoon showers bring a lot of rain. One way to take advantage of this rain is by installing a rain barrel. Rain barrels collect water that falls from your roof. This water can be stored and used for indoor plants, landscaping, and lawn.
