St. Cloud breaks ground on the first of three new fire stations

Friday’s groundbreaking for the “new” Station 32, at the same location as the “old” station, on Old Canoe Creed Road near the current Turnpike interchange, is the first of three new stations planned within the next three years, City of St. Cloud officials say.

The St. Cloud Fire Rescue Department announces it has added to its leadership division with additions of Deputy Chief of Professional Standards Michael Capranica and Emergency Manager Nolan Ristau.

St. Cloud names new Deputy City Manager

 City of St. Cloud announced Monday that Scott Davidoff has been named its new deputy city manager. Former Assistant City Manager Dave Tomek returned to Osceola County to become a deputy county manager.“We are excited to have Scott join our team,” said City Manager Veronica Miller.

St. Cloud showcases City Hall expansion

St. Cloud swung open the doors to City Hall for its public grand re-opening Wednesday.The recently-completed work brought new space to all three floors and connected what was Buildings A and B, two separate buildings before.

Toho Water resumes line flushing this week in Old Canoe Creek, Settlers, Zion Road area

After a week off, Toho Water Authority will resume water line flushing in targeted areas of the City of St. Cloud this week. The map shows the area where customers are likely to experience a temporary drop in water pressure and discolored water.

St. Cloud breaks ground on Fire Station 34 on Nora Tyson

By the end of 2023, the St. Cloud Fire Department hopes to serve residents on the east side of the county in a quicker and better fashion. The city ceremoniously broke ground Friday on Fire Station 34 on Nora Tyson Road, just east of Narcoossee Road and north of U.S. Highway 192.

St. Cloud downtown business grants now available

A downtown revitalization project has lanes and streets closed in St. Cloud, affecting some businesses. To compensate, the City announced Monday it’s offering marketing grants of up to $1,000 to help those businesses impacted by the ongoing construction.
