The Osceola Kowboys went all the way to Miami Friday, seeking the school’s first state football championship since 1998. OHS rolled in, with hundreds of their faithful fans who traveled via fan bus or train to Pitbull Stadium, with a 12-2 record, but the opponents, the West Boca Raton Bulls, were 14-0, and left undefeated after beating Osceola 26-7. The game was closer than that score—Osceola trailed just 10-7 at the half—as the team represented Kissimmee valiantly and played with heart and passion for four quarters in its seventh appearance in a championship game.
