The Osceola Magic announced Thursday that forward Robert Baker will be headed overseas and will sign with EuroLeague club ALBA Berlin.
The signing comes after Baker recently played for USA Basketball during the 2025 AmeriCup qualifying round.
The 6-10 Baker, who has played for three NBA franchises and four NBA G League teams in his four-year American pro career, played in 32 games with 21 starts for Osceola, and averaged 10.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, one block per game. Having played 2022-23 for the Lakeland Magic, he holds the Lakeland-Osceola Magic career record with 82 blocks.
Baker has previous experience outside the United States with stints in Slovakia, Puerto Rico and Japan. He played college basketball at Harvard University.
The Baker-less Magic will play at the Iowa Wolves on Friday before returning home to play the Windy City Bulls on Sunday at 3 p.m. and Monday at 7 p.m.
