The Osceola Kowboys completed another romp through the Orange Belt Conference tournament Thursday with a 25-10, 25-6, 25-23 victory over the Gateway Panthers at Celebration High School.

That followed quarterfinal and semifinal wins over Liberty (25-5, 25-8, 25-7) and Tohopekaliga (25-19, 25-6, 25-13).

While the usual cast carried the Kowboys to their fourth straight OBC title — hitters Cate Palmi had 39 kills, including 17 on 22 chances Thursday, Jordin Southall and Sophie Spivey added 31 and 33 and setter Delaney Webb tallied 100 assists during the week, OHS Coach Carrie Palmi said everyone on the roster made a contribution.

"We played well, and more importantly to me we got all of our players in the games," Palmi said. "We have players who we want to get varsity playing time, they are very important to us in practice to make sure we are focused as a team. We make it difficult for them in practice, so when they're in a game they aren't surprised by what they see."
