The NBA G League announced Thursday that Osceola Magic point guard Mac McClung has been named to the 2023-24 All-NBA G League First Team and fellow guard Trevelin Queen was named to the Second Team.
It marks McClung's first time earning the league's top honors and the second time for Queen.
McClung becomes the second Osceola Magic player to be named All-NBA G League First Team, he joins Mamadi Diakite (2020-21) during the G League championship year when the franchise played in Lakeland. McClung was also named the 2023-24 Kia NBA G League MVP.
B.J. Johnson (2019-20) and Josh Magette (2019-20) were magic players named All-NBA G League Second Team.
During the 2023-24 season, McClung averaged a league-high 25.7 points per game, including a season-high 40 in a March 21 win against Birmingham, and his 6.6 assists per game were among league leaders. He shot 39.6% from three-point range. He led (or tied) the Magic in scoring 13 times, led (or tied) in assists 15 times and led (or tied) in rebounding once.
A true Swiss Army knife, Queen averaging 22.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 2.2 steals. He led (or tied) the Magic in scoring four times, led (or tied) in assists six times and led (or tied) in rebounding four times. Queen scored in double figures 19 times including a season-high 32 points on March 11 vs. the Raptors 905.
The pair helped the Magic, the NBA G League Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, finish 22-12 and were the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
