Meet the authors on Saturday and dress-up for a themed costume contest for a chance to win St. Cloud Theater tickets. The first 20 families will receive a free book. The St. Cloud Heritage Museum (1012 Massachusetts Ave.) presents Passport to Patriotism Flag Day on Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This free family event includes picking up your “passport” at the Museum and then proceeding to participating businesses, where you will collect stamps. Once your passport is filled, return to the Museum with your complete card for a chance to win prizes. This day honors the official adoption of the U.S. flag on June 14, 1777. This date serves to celebrate national pride and remember the flag as a symbol of our nation’s history and values. Local Troop 4 of St. Cloud will lead with the Pledge of Allegiance and demonstrate how to properly fold and store the flag. The Daughters of the American Revolution will be participating in the event to explain the Code of the American Flag.

Look out for a traffic pattern change on Boggy Creek Road at Narcoossee Road, with travel lanes operating on both on the north and south sides of the roadway while crews work in the center median. This pattern is expected to remain in place for approximately three weeks.
