When the school doors swing open for the 2025-26 school year in just six weeks, a number of schools will have newly-minted administrators. These appointments were approved at Tuesday's Osceola County School Board meeting:
Dr. Nigel Pillay, Principal of "AAA" High — The new high school opening in 2026 on Nova Road. Illay comes from St. Johns Technical High School, where he was principal.
Ashlee Langley, Principal of Highlands Elementary — She comes from Reedy Creek and Highlands Elementary.
Seth Daub, Principal of Mill Creek Elementary — Previously served as Senior Director of Program Operations and Teaching and Learning at the Pace Center for Girls.
Amanda DeRight, Principal of Central Avenue Elementary — Served as Assistant Principal at Central Avenue since 2000.
Marlenys Vargas-Ortiz, Assistant Principal of Hickory Tree Elementary — Was Dean of Students at Narcoossee Middle since 2023.
Virnell Narine, Assistant Principal of Liberty High — Was the Dean of Students at Kissimmee Middle School since 2018.
Ben Johnston, Assistant Principal of Discovery Intermediate —Last served as Dean of Students at Bellalago Academy since 2018 and the Night Administrator at Osceola Technical College.
Yoldana Polanco, Assistant Principal of Cross Prairie K-8 — Was the Dean of Students at Zenith Accelerated Learning Academy.
Breanna Wilkerson, Assistant Principal of Osceola High — She was a former Math Coach at Osceola High (2023-2024) and Neptune Middle.
Erika Hare, Assistant Principal of Knights Point K-8 — She was the school’s Learning Resource Specialist.
Fatemah Wright, Assistant Principal of Adult Learning Center Osceola — Previously served as Dean of Students at Osceola County Schools since 2020.

Darline Valcin, from Gateway High to Tohopekaliga High
Jennifer Wrona, from St. Cloud High to NeoCity Academy
Magali Rassel, from Principal of Highlands Elementary to Assistant Principal of Boggy Creek Elementary
Ariel Seabolt, from Liberty High to Poinciana High
Lonnie Howard, from Denn John Middle to Gateway High
Frankie Franceschi, from Neptune Middle to Denn John Middle
Erin Williams, from Knights Point K-8 to Parkway Middle
Kendyl Bass, from St. Cloud High to Highlands Elementary.
The District administration team will also welcome Monique Machado, the former Kissimmee Middle School principal, as Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Curriculum and Instruction; and Dr. Tammy Dery, from Coordinator for School Improvement to Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
