Kissimmee’s Juneteenth celebration of culture and community

“Black History is American history,” and it was on display Saturday at the Kissimmee Civic Center at the city’s Juneteenth celebration of the country’s newest federal holiday.

Musical acts Yung Joc, Michael Randolph and Jaz brought the vibes, and food trucks and vendors outside brought the soulful flavor. Local vendors offered up their finest creations celebrating the Juneteenth movement, long on unity and pride in the city’s Black culture.
