Don’t let the fun end on the 4th! Head back to Lakeshore Boulevard for the Stars & Stripes Summer Seafood Boil at the beach on Sunday, July 5 from 5-8 p.m. Presented by St. Cloud Main Street, celebrate summer, community and America’s 250th. Get your Fourth started on the 3rd! Avenue One Health Center presents Red, White and Blue Bash at 1100 Massachusetts Ave. on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This community event features food and drinks, sweet treats, local businesses and family friendly fun. There will be local vendors, music and giveaways.
Way out east? A 4th of July party will take place at the Holopaw Community Center (8801 Community Center Road) on Saturday, July 4th beginning at 4 p.m. Enjoy food, a bounce house, bocce, music, horseshoes, volleyball, croquet, cornhole, badminton, and a water slide. There will be fireworks at dusk.
And of course, 4th on the Lake, the City of St. Cloud’s Independence Day celebration takes place on Saturday from 4-9:30 p.m. at St. Cloud Lakefront Park. Enjoy live music from Modern Ties, live performances from Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, Sami’s kid’s zone, vendors, food, drinks, glow in the dark putt-putt, volleyball, yard games, hot dog eating contest, ice cream eating contest and an extended fireworks show starting at 9:15 p.m.

The St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce presents Politics in the Barn on Wednesday, July 15 at 5:30 to p.m. at Lavender on the Lake, 2596 Clay Whaley Rd. This evening of community patriotism and civic engagement is also presented by Orlando Health, St. Cloud Hospital. A special feature includes an America250 musical salute presented by students from the School District of Osceola County. Meet candidates, visit campaign booths, hear 90 second stump speeches and participate in the straw vote. Ticket cost is $30.
