The City of St. Cloud presents Mother’s Day in the Park on Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Peghorn Nature Park, 2101 Peghorn Way.  Moms can enjoy a day filled with vendors, food trucks, DJ, door prizes and a Mimosa bar.  A floral bouquet will be presented to all Moms. Southern Touch Weddings & Events presents a Mother’s Day Tea at The Parish Hall, 2745 Canoe Creek Rd. on Saturday, May 10 from -1-3 p.m.  The menu includes assorted tea sandwiches, fresh fruit, sweets, hot tea and pink lemonade. The cost is $35 for adults, children ages 2 to 11 $20. To RSVP, email Southerntouchweddingsandevents@gmail.com with subject line Mother’s Day Tea.

 

The second Hickory Tree Elementary Annual Car and Truck Show takes place on Sunday, May 4 from 1:30-5 p.m. at Cornerstone Church (2925 Canoe Creek Road.)  All vehicles are welcome.  The day also includes a 50-50 cash raffle, food trucks and vendors.To register your car or truck text Ashley at 407-962-6061 or Aaron at 407-799-7284. All proceeds benefit Hickory Tree Elementary.

 

The 3rd Grade Reading Summer Camp for students who score a Level 1 or 2 on 2025 FAST can attend Reading Summer Camp to receive intensive reading instruction. This is an opportunity to earn a Good Cause Exemption for promotion to 4th Grade will be available during this reading camp.  Camp dates are June 4-26 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.  at Hickory Tree Elementary.

Middle School Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies Recovery provides Middle School Students with the opportunity to recover a course they failed.  The dates are June 4-26 at St. Cloud and Harmony Middle Schools. All classes are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

VPK Remediation provides services for select VPK to close the learning achievement gap for students entering kindergarten. The dates are June 4-July 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Cloud High School.

The deadline to apply for all programs is May 5.

 

Show your support and gratitude by purchasing a commemorative sign to honor those who have served.  The City of St. Cloud’s Hometown Heroes commemorative signs will be displayed at the Annual Memorial Day and Wreaths Across America event at Mt.
