Osceola County will close Neptune Road between Partin Settlement Road and Cross Prairie Parkway for 36 hours for storm pipe crossings and box culvert installation as part of the Neptune widening project.
The road is scheduled to close on Thursday morning at 6 a.m. and re-open on Friday evening at 6 p.m.
During the closure, traffic will be rerouted onto Partin Settlement Road and Cross Prairie Parkway. Eastbound traffic headed toward St. Cloud will turn left on Partin Settlement, right on Cross Prairie then left again to return to Neptune; westbound traffic headed to Kissimmee will do the opposite. There will be plenty of signage in place to guide drivers.

As inconceivable as it may sound, traffic may want to use U.S. Highway 192 to avoid the area and potential delays Thursday and Friday.
