City of St. Cloud announced Monday that Scott Davidoff has been named its new deputy city manager.
Former Assistant City Manager Dave Tomek returned to Osceola County to become a deputy county manager.
“We are excited to have Scott join our team,” said City Manager Veronica Miller. “His experience will help us as we continue to meet the needs of our growing city, and I’m confident he will help us continue to meet our mission of providing work to provide efficient, quality public services, a transparent government, and a safe community.
The city touted his background in operations, community development, economic development, and capital projects management. Davidoff comes to St. Cloud with more than 23 years of local government experience, most recently serving as the deputy city manager for the city of Clermont in Lake County.
He earned the 2024 Florida City and County Management Association Assistant for Excellence in Leadership Award, which is given to an FCCMA member who has demonstrated excellence in leadership while serving as an assistant to a chief local government administrator.
Davidoff holds a degree in Parks and Recreation Management from the University of North Carolina and is pursuing a Master of Public Administration through Valdosta State University. In December, he will be a credentialed city manager through the International City/County Management Association.
