A man provided some doorbell cameras in a Kissimmee neighborhood with quite the video early Monday morning, as police say he tried to gain access to a number of homes — naked.
Giovanni Alcaraz, 23, was arrested around 2 a.m. after ducking through backyards, scaling fences and hiding from Osceola County Sheriff's deputies under trees and on the back porch of at least one home, before being apprehended. He's been charged with two counts of exposure of sexual organs and one count of resisting arrest without violence. Jail records show he's held at Osceola Corrections on a $3,500 bond as of Wednesday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office released video Wednesday of the man, later identified as Alcaraz, naked and trying to get into a home. The video shows that he quickly becomes spooked and takes off, running through a number of yards, climbing fences to gain access to some. At one point he enters a back porch and lays down, but infrared cameras catch his every move, and he leaves, and is finally brought down by a number of deputies.
Monday wasn't his first recent run in with the law. Court records show that on Aug. 7 he was cited for driving under the influence and arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer. The News-Gazette has requested arrest reports from each of these cases from the Osceola County Clerk & Comptroller's office; we'll update this story with those details when we get them.
