Back To School.It's real. It's happening Monday. And based on the school supply events held in our community the last two weeks, our students will largely be prepared (Well, except for those early-morning alarms going off in some cases!).

The Osceola News-Gazette earned 11 statewide journalism honors—including three first-place awards—at the annual Florida Press Association conference and Best Weekly Newspapers awards banquet, held Aug. 1 in Port Charlotte.

A 27-year-old St. Cloud man was arrested Tuesday after investigators say he engaged in sexually explicit conversations and sent obscene photos to an undercover investigator posing as a 14-year-old girl.
