Osceola County and NeoCity leaders Thursday welcomed Florida Secretary of Commerce Alex Kelly to ceremoniously break ground on a 30,000 square foot multi-use lab facility at the Kissimmee tech campus.

The move continues from Capone’s Dinner Theater to Old Town Kissimmee for Hamburger Mary’s.The iconic restaurant, which chose to leave its downtown Orlando location in 2025, has announced it is moving into the former Shoney’s space in the front of Old Town on west U.S. Highway 192.

The City of Kissimmee threw a 143rd birthday party Saturday, and thousands turned out celebrate in its honor dancing, singers, family fun and, of course, birthday cake thanks to Jenni’s Cakes. Confetti rained down and cupcakes were handed out.
