The Florida Press Association has announced the nominees for its 2025 Best Weekly Newspaper Contest, and the Osceola News-Gazette is well represented.Your local paper received 11 nominations for awards in reporting, column writing, photography, website excellence.

Kissimmee’s Tesla dealership on Orange Blossom Trail Saturday was the site of protests against the actions of President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk, who owns Tesla and who has been a close ally to the new administration.

Toho Water Authority kicked off the first of four public forums Monday night to gain community input on supplementing fluoride in their drinking water. But, with the state legislature moving toward banning water additives, the effort could end up being a pointless exercise.
