The Florida Highway Patrol reports a Wisconsin man was killed overnight on Florida's Turnpike approaching the Kissimmee Park Road exit when his boat trailer was struck on the shoulder and caused a roadblock.
According to a crash report, at 1:50 a.m. a Ford F-150, driven by a 42-year-old St. Cloud man drove off the right lane and into the shoulder, where the 47-year-old Trevor, Wisc. man was parked with his boat trailer. The F-150 struck the trailer and then the man, who was pronounced deceased on scene. The other driver was not injured and remained on scene.
The crash remains under investigation, FHP said.
