Simpson Road between Fortune Road and U.S. Highway 192 has reopened after a collision involved two SUVs occurred just before noon at Country Lane, near the Professional and Technical High School of Osceola County, Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS said today.
The two vehicles had nine passengers, fire officials said, including two minors. Three separate helicopter airlifts flew patients to area hospitals, and others were transported via ambulance.
No information is yet available on how the crash occurred.
