St. Cloud’s Economic Development website, www. centerplaceforbusiness. com, has received the 2024 Innovation in Marketing award from the Florida Economic Development Council (FEDC). This marks the first FEDC award the City has received, the city said.

The website, was recognized for its “innovative ways to communicate with, and attract, key audiences like stakeholders, talent, and new or existing businesses.

“We are excited to win this Innovation in Marketing award,” said St. Cloud Economic Development Director Antranette Forbes. “The website has been a great tool for us to assist our existing businesses, as well as to attract potential new businesses that may want to open here, relocate here, or expand to our community. We were thrilled to be recognized on a statewide level by our peers.”

Chris Lyle Aquatic Center community meeting

The city of St. Cloud will hold a community meeting to solicit input on the master plan for the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center on Wednesday, May 15 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the St. Cloud Community Center. Community input is important as the city makes plans for ensuring the facility can continue to meet the needs of the community in the future.
