With up to 2.5 inches of rain having already fallen Saturday in portions of Osceola County, the National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Flood Advisory until 9:45 p.m. Part of Orange County is also in the advisory.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding, the weather service said.
Areas within the advisory include Orlando, Kissimmee, Saint Cloud, Buena Ventura Lakes, East Lake Toho, Orlando International Airport, Narcoossee, Oak Ridge, West Lake Toho, Conway, Belle Isle, Osceola Heritage Park, Austin Tindall Park, Hunters Creek, Lake Nona, Pine Castle, Lake Hart, Sea World, Campbell and Doctor Phillips.
