A 66-year-old Kissimmee woman died Wednesday evening as when she was struck by a vehicle on Kings Highway, Florida Highway Patrol reports.
According to FHP's report, the incident happened at 6:30 p.m. just north of Henry Partin Road. Troopers say the victim entered the southbound lane of Kings Highway in the direct path of a Chevy Suburban driven by a 46-year-old Kindred man, which struck the woman. The driver and his teenage passenger were noy physically hurt and remained on scene. The victim was taken to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Troopers say the crash remains under investigation.
